For thousand of years Kazakhstan was also a natural bridge between East and West with a northern spur of the Silk Road. It run across the Great Steppe and new villages and cities were springing up along it. The Great Silk Road linked huge territories not only with silk It became the main and the principal part of ambassadorial and trade caravans in 6-8 cc. With the spread of goods along the Silk Road art, architectural, cultural standards were spread. The religious ideas were disseminated too. Now we are glad to give opportunity to explore this ancient rout, to feel its magic atmosphere, to see its magnificent nature to learn its culture to meet its people. Below we suggest some itineraries along this fabulous route.

Day 1. Almaty
Arrival to Almaty early in the morning. Transfer to the hotel, accommodation, rest, breakfast. City tour including visit to the State Historical Museum. Lunch at the "Kazakh aul" restaurant, tasting of national cuisine. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. Almaty
Breakfast. One day "Charyn Canyon " tour. Lunch on the route. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3. Almaty
Breakfast, whole day excursion "Petroglyphs of Tarmgaly". dinner at the hotel, evening train to Taraz.

Day 4. Almaty - Taraz (500 km)
Breakfast, accommodation, city tour including visit to the Historical Museum, dinner, overnight.

Day 5. Taraz-Shymkent(180km)
Breakfast, departure to Shymkent by coach, on the way visit to Aisha-Bibi and Babadji-Khatun mausoleum, arrival to Shymkent by-lunch time, accommodation, lunch, city tour, dinner, overnight

Day 6. Turkestan - Tashkent (365 km)
Breakfast, coach trip to the town of Turkestan (165km) to observe the ancient settlement of Otrar, to visit Hodja Ahmed Yassavi mausoleum. Arrival by lunch time. Lunch at the national style restaurant - shaykhana, excursion, departure to Tashkent.

Day 7. Tashkent - Samarkand (300 km)
Breakfast departure to Samarkand by coach, arrival by lunch time, accommodation. lunch, visit to the Registan. dinner, overnight.

Day 8. Samarkand
Breakfast, excursion to Gur-Emir, Ulugbek observatory, lunch. dinner, overnight.

Day 9. Samarkand - Bukhara (270 km)
Breakfast, departure to Bukhara, arrival by lunch time, accommodation, lunch, excursion to Poli-Kalyan complex, Samanids mausoleum, Miri-Arab mosque, dinner, overnight

Day 10. Bukhara
Breakfast Samanid's mausoleum. Summer residence of Emir, lunch, dinner, overnight

Day 11. Bokhara - Urgench (441 km)
Breakfast, departure to Urgench. Arrival by lunch time, accommodation, lunch, excursion to Kunya-Ark complex, dinner, overnight.
