Day 1. Almaty
Arrival to Almaty early in the morning, meeting with a driver, transfer to hotel for accommodation. In the afternoon Almaty city excursion. Inclkuding visit to 28 Panfilovtzev Park, Zenkov Cathedral, Museum of Musical Instruments, Republic Square, Monument of Independence.
Excursion to Kok-Tobe mountain where TV-tower is located. Return to hotel, overnight at hotel.
Day 2. Almaty
After breakfast you will be driven to Charyn Canyon (200 km) which is considered to be the largest canyon in the world after the famous Colorado one in America. Excursion to the Valley of Castles and to Charyn river. Return to Almaty, overnight at hotel.
Day 3. Almaty - Big Almaty Lake - Chimkent
In the morning transfer to Big Almaty Lake (25 km) located in the gorge 2500 m above the sea level. It's one of the most picturesque and popular places to visit among the locals. People are attracted by beautiful nature, fresh air, forests and of course the lake itself. It was formed as a result of ancient glacier moving and left a basin afterwards. Later it was supplied with warm water and so the lake appeared.
Return to the city and transfer to the railway station for train to Chimkent at 17:27. Overnight on board of a train.
Day 4. Chimkent
Arrival to Chimkent in the morning, meeting with guide and breakfast at local cafe. Chimkent city excursion. Then transfer to the foothills of Kazgurt mountains to visit the stone figures of animals which according to the legend are holy places. Return to Chimkent, overnight at hotel.
Day 5. Chimkent - Turkestan
After breakfast at hotel transfer to Turkestan (3 h). On the way visiting ancient city Otrars ruins and Arystan-Bab mausoleum. Upon arrival to Turkestan accommodation at hotel and excursion to Khodja Akhmat Yassawi mausoleum (on foot) - the holy place for every Muslim. Return to hotel, overnight.

Day 6. Turkestan - Aralsk (odd dates)
Transfer to the train station for depart to Aralsk at 14:24.

7. Aralsk
Arrival to Aralsk at 03:46. Meeting at the station, transfer to hotel Aral for accommodation. Overnight.
In the afternoon Aral city excursion, including visit to the Old Harbor and the Museum. Overnight at hotel.

8. Aralsk
This day you'll have an opportunity to visit "the cemetery of ships" (65 km). You'll face the tragedy of Aral sea, which is losing its water from year to year, leaving just layers of salt on the bottom of the sea. Ships, the former kings of the sea, now all ruined and forgotten, will provide an intelligible impression on you. Return to Aralsk, overnight at hotel.
Day 9. Aralsk - Kyzyl-Orda (daily)
Transfer from Aralsk to Kyzyl-Orda for train to Astana at 22:30. Overnight in train.
Day 10. On board of a train
Day 11. Astana
Arrival to Astana at 09:25, meeting at the station. Astana city excursion, including visit to Bayterek Monument of Independence and the watching platform on it's roof, Museum of the First President, map complex "Atameken", Islamic Cultural Centre etc…
Accommodation at hotel. Free time. Overnight.
Day 12. Astana Excursion to the village Malinovka, where you will be able to visit former Soviet Camp ALZHIR (Akmola Camp for the Wives of the Land's Traitors). This 3 hours excursion will let you deeply understand how had those women live, never done any crimes but put to prison by the Soviet Government as the "wives of the native land's traitors". Return to Astana, overnight at hotel.
Day 13. Astana departure
Transfer to the airport for flight home through Frankfurt at 04:30 am.
